How soon were you thinking? I was thinking we would get it in a year or so.

I don't think I've ever seen Dustin with a tucked-in shirt before. Maybe at some charity thing they did.

I KNOW! I kept waiting for Dustin to call them out on it, which he sometimes does.

I would be surprised if it doesn’t come out by November 2022 or early 2023. But I wouldn’t expect a full 2 year gap between records. Some of it is already recorded and all
    Of it written.

My hope with them having their own studio now is they have faster album release times.

I think we definitely get West in 2022.

not sure how he breathes and sings with that tight ass shirt but he’s a legend.

They've always had a consistent 2-year turnaround, and that's pretty fast considering the touring they have to do in between. Obviously, the pandemic slowed this one down, but they'll make up for it with a second record in Q4 2022. I just hope they'll use their space to do some experimental EPs.

I feel like The Alchemy Indexes came out within a year of each other but maybe I’m wrong.

Yes, but they were made at the same time. They just spaced them out like they're doing with Horizons. West will need a bit more time than Air and Earth since it's not finished yet.

Dustin is one of the best live vocalists I’ve ever seen. Up there with jim Adkins and father John Misty just in terms of accuracy and faithfulness to the recordings

Have you noticed that each album cycle has a somewhat consistent outfit? Major/minor was a lot of flannels. TBE was a denim jacket with that Wandering Kind hat. Palms was that unbuttoned blue/gray short-sleeve shirt with a black t-shirt underneath. So maybe this tucked-in look is his Horizons-era uniform.

Riley said they've got 5 more songs written and mostly/partially recorded. Dustin has made similar statements, but everybody has consistently said that there's still a decent amount writing and recording to do.

I've heard him explain it, but he loses me each time. Sometimes, highly intellectual people aren't the best at explaining what they're trying to say.

The Alchemy Index was pretty much finished before 1 and 2 were released, I think

Same session, yes. And that's because they were originally going to release them all at once.

5 songs written and partially recorded a much larger head start than most bands have on the follow up regardless when a new album drops tho. with a normal 2 year album cycle it could easily simply be a year instead.

I just realized that Delta is going to put the clamps on those acoustic performances that they do during many of their tour stops. What a bummer. I mean, maybe Octane can happen since they'll have tighter protocols than some of the random places they've performed at, but still.
