Lots of people not feeling The Dreamer, but it might be my favorite on this thing after 2 listens

 

So I still don't love Scavengers. It's fine. It's just not that amazing to me (shrug)
I wish the first half of Buried in the Sun sounded less like Branch in the River, but I love so much of this song.

 

shouted verses in "the dreamer" are so different for them but it works, song sounds awesome

 

Yeah I think I'll end up skipping that one a bit on relistens. Just didn't do anything for me

"unitive" is beautiful, and why would you skip the closer lmao

 

Still Life is sick. Saw a lot of people saying it was a low point. Verrrry much disagree

 

Because I don't like the song? Why does it matter where it is lol

 

There are some great echoes of cadences & sounds from pre-hiatus era Thrice throughout the album. Still Life feels like it could fit in the Alchemy era.

 

Cause I don't like it.
