Said I wouldn’t listen to Robot and I couldn’t do it and broke down. Definitely not listening to this one lol
they've played enough songs acoustically that they could release an acoustic album. thrice alliance bonus, maybe?
I’m fully vaccinated, I would wear a mask without any issue, but I have a baby and two kids who can’t get vaccinated yet. I’m not worried for my own health and safety, but for what I could bring home from the show.
For a lot of tours right now, one positive test amongst a member of the touring party is enough to warrant an entire show cancellation and these adult children can’t even wear a mask for three hours. The shows will certainly be better without them
this is gonna sound like "my dad works at nintendo" but Imma gonna post it anyways I just moved to a new city and met a pastor here who has close ties to the christian punk scene circles having been in a bunch of bands himself who has copy of the record. He says its a great mix of the older experimental stuff with their newer slow heavy rock sound. He says he loves it.
I really liked Artist in the Ambulance when I first heard it, but it was either Red Sky or Daedalus that reeled me in.
Phoenix Ignition was the first Thrice song I heard (after downloading it from Kazaa), and definitely the song that hooked, too.
I feel like Paper Tigers was the first song I heard from them. I wanna say it was an acoustic version someone was playing on their OG iPod in high school.
