Thrice Confirm ‘Horizons/West’

I can confirm that i called this when they announced Horizon/east. That will be all.

 

I was also wishing for a North/South as well. Guess time will tell.

i saw this idea floating around but was swiftly reminded that there are technically only two horizons

 

They could have made a concept album about Verizon and whether anyone is hearing them now.

I’m all in for a double album especially if it’s more concept-y. It’s probably because it’s when I first really got into Thrice, but The Alchemy Index has so much gold for me.

 

That may be true but there appears to all kinds of sub-types they could work off of…!

 

Albums with intricate stories as concepts don’t always translate well.

The brilliance of Alchemy Index concept was how each EP had a theme and sound to go along with it. I’d imagine that H/E and H/W has some unifying themes but something that with make them a little different.

I’ve still only listened to Scavengers but I’m excited for all the new music from such an awesome band.
