Very cool. Curious if the boys actually contributed with creating the songs, or just licensed their names essentially.
Thrice always excel when they go electronic. I still debate if Digital Sea is the best thing they've ever done
I was wondering this, too. It would be really cool in the future for them to record a collection of reinterpretations (beyond lofI)/alternate versions of songs (e.g. how they've played "A Song For Milly Michaelson" live)
This. Their tone/vibe/groove has evolved so much over the years that it would be great to see how they'd sound now. On a related note, I'm surprised they've never released a version of Deadbolt with the extended outro they've been playing live since, well, almost forever, I guess.
There's a great recording of it on the Live at the House of Blues album, though I'm assuming you mean a studio version. They seems like they want to leave rerecording IOS alone, from what I've read.
