I know virtually nothing about this, but the "Heathers meets American Psycho" blurb on the poster has me interested. Will be MoviePassing this soon.

It's weird how little marketing this has gotten especially compared to Gringo and Hurricane Heist

Thought this was pretty good with some moments of greatness, but I wouldn’t call it fantastic as a whole and I certainly don’t feel the need to see it again. But overall, a positive experience and I’d recommend seeing it if you get the chance. The good parts of this film felt Yorgos Anthimos-esque. The bad parts felt like I was watching Diablo Cody’s take on Yorgos Lanthimos lol. I think it was an interesting directorial debut and I’ll look out for what they have coming next, even if this did feel very derivative.

RIYL: Killing of a Sacred Deer, Dogtooth, Stoker, American Psycho, and sadly, something like Juno but more fucked up

Side note: Anya Taylor Joy is a gem.

Saw 45 minutes of this before the projector fucked up. Was a little bit of a slow burn but I liked what I saw. Will probably go watch the rest this afternoon.

Saw this last year at a festival and loved it. Bummed the only theater playing it near me is over an hour away.

Just left the theater- I liked this a lot! I will agree with the Lanthimos-lite take.

I miss Anton Yelchin every day.

I loved this a lot. Two leads were great.

Man, I will forever miss Anton. He was legit one of my favorite up and coming actors.

I liked It, but didn’t love it.

As others have said, everyone in this is great. And Anton - man, what a talent.

I don't think he was up and coming. He was a pretty established actor. Lots of roles since he was young.

Yeah thats true. But I guess what I meant is I feel like he could have been a real mainstream star if he had the chance. I know he had a role in the new Star Trek series and the Terminator movie but I would have loved to have seen him keep walking that line of blockbusters and indie movies that he was doing so well.

Absolutely adore him in Charlie Bartlett, Like Crazy, Green Room, etc.

    fucking horse girls
I feel like my enjoyment of this might have been affected by the fact that I sometimes worry that I have whatever it is that Amanda has
I also spent the entire movie trying to figure out whether or not Amanda was gay or perhaps more hoping for it
also who names a horse Honeymooner
    I really liked the score

Yeah that murder scene was flawless.

Also my theater was full but only me and one other person laughed at the swimfan joke. Never felt more connected to a stranger in my life.
