I sadly couldn't get through their remix lol, but their album is one of my top of the year.

anyone revisited Heroine recently? I loved it when it came out and it's still fantastic. It feels great in the progression of their sound throughout their discography and they really took some swings that worked for me big time. Casanova blew me away the first time I heard it, and Arkangel is one of the best songs in their catalog.

heroine's still far and away my favorite thing the band's done. they locked in with every facet of their image for that release. the vinyl booklet is one of the cooler ones that i've seen

Heroine has a few bangers on it but I skip over a lot of it whenever I listen tbh.

Bodies is by far their best work, if you were to ask me.

I definitely prefer Bodies, to be clear. I just thought it was interesting going back and hearing all the seeds they planted. I just enjoy the sound they've leaned into. I remember the uproar when the first couple of singles came out lol. Curious if the general sentiment has changed considering how well they've refined that sound.

I still remember that shirt they made quoting folks who hated their new sound lol

The Dark Pool is very cool but I’m pretty happy with the direction they took!

was not aware they recently released another version of the album with a crisper mix and Mercia tacked on at the end. supposedly this version is also on vinyl and is being sold on their tour, and was previously on the Revolver/Alt Press/BrooklynVegan shops, although some reserve copies were put up today on Alt Press, so i grabbed one (since my original copy had some scratches).
