Tell me this is bullshit, but I really feel like this is a Deftones/Muse metalcore/numetal baby. I just hear Chino and Matt in a lot of Jacob’s delivery and obviously the shoegaze with groove. I’ve listened to this 4-5 times and I think it’s my AOTY at this point. Revolver might be the best song they’ve ever done

 

Spot-on, I’ve always heard a bunch of both of those bands in their sound since Heroine

 

I definitely hear Muse in some of Jacob’s vocals tbh like in Silver Swarm. Not mad at any of it.

 

Went ahead and just bought tix to their show in Portland next month while listening to Nerv. This record is too good to miss live.

absolutely incredible album, has a real shot at my top 10 this year.

 

unfortunately for them this will absolutely become a favorite of the fanbase haha

 

Can't stop listening to this. Outside of the interlude, not 1 track is skippable.

 

This album is so damn dialed-in. Most definitely my favorite of theirs already. Vinyl sounds great too.

 

Listened to the first half of it and thought it was a little too on the nose copying Diamond Eyes era Deftones, but that era of Deftones rules, so it was pretty good. I’ll give it a full listen tomorrow.

looooved cherry. i was listening to girls club the other day hoping they'd come back. i suppose it's not because vicious exists but they had a great, albeit short run.

Sorry for the bump but I’ve been listening to this record all morning and it’s definitely going to be in my top 5 of the year.

What a masterpiece top to bottom tbh.
