It seems like Marvel is finally seeing how rewarding it is if they give directors more freedom. Too bad Antman came before GOTG...I think they would have had more faith in Edgar if it came afterwards :(
I'm confused. If I recall correctly, the last we saw Loki he was posing as their father and presumed dead. Here, he just appears tied up somewhere?
Who knows how he gets to that point but they did say at the SDCC panel that Loki has continued to pose as Odin for the four years since Dark World so that plot hasn't been forgotten.
I wonder if Loki being in Odin's place maybe was a part in Hela coming to Asgard? I find it hard to imagine that he just took Odin's place and then....ruled without issue/plotting/scheming for 4 years? hm.
