The Jane Foster Thor storyline was such a compelling story about worthiness, faith, humanity, etc., & also just such a fun rock 'n' roll comic book adventure. Read it, y'all.

 

If Janes done the same way in the comics I’m gonna be

 

With Jane coming back, you know who else I wanna see come back? Erik & Darcy. Especially Darcy.

I know I'm like the only person who liked Kat Dennings in these films, as the tasteless turd that I am, but I found her dumb humor so delightful amidst Dark World's dullness. I feel like Taika could write some great interactions between Darcy, Korg, & Miek in New Asgard. Plus, it makes sense that she & Erik would wanna spend time w/ the Asgardians now that they're on earth.

Oh, and while we're at it, bring back Dinklage as Eitri, especially since Mjolnir is still gone. Plus, I still want Sif, if Jaimie Alexander's schedule allows.

I don't think any of that would be overdoing it, since there's reasonable story sense for those characters to pop up in New Asgard. Plus, this will be the first Thor film without Loki, Heimdall, Odin, or the Warriors Three. Seems like a fair way to flesh out the world w/ familiar faces.

 

Kat Dennings is literally almost all I remember from the first two

 

imagine a movie where Idris Elba is a God being unmemorable haha, I'm glad they made Thor more fun because Hemsworth is hilarious and deserves to have fun

 

Imagine watching Thor: Ragnarok and having your takeaway be “Taika is a Marvel shill” lol. That movie is his vision through and through. And he’s still making his own films and he’s still working on his own television series. Not to mention that he can now leverage his box office success, that he got thanks to Marvel, into getting whatever passion projects he wants made. He’s doing just fine and I honestly couldn’t be happier for him, he deserves all of the success in the world.

I saw someone point out on twitter that jane is a Doctor

So she’s Doctor Thor, or DocThor

 

Thor is supposed to be a Doctor too technically lol

 

I am also a fan of Darcy and Kat as an actress. She commented on one of the announcement posts and it was cool to see other people want her to come back too

 

I’m glad Goldblum is returning. He has such a comedic charm.

 

IGN posted something about who could be Valkyries Queen and mentioned Sif. I reeeeeeeeeeeeeealy hope they bring her back for this along with Jane.
