Exclusive: Brett Goldstein Cast As Hercules In The Marvel Cinematic Universe Does this site have a good track record or do they just make shit up?
Yeah that website is just a step above We Got This Covered, and that’s just because no one posts their stupid bullshit anywhere
Site looks like they just make shit up based off looking at it. But I've seen this as a leak after the premiere a few days ago, so I'm pretty sure it's true regardless
Terrible. If an interviewer wants to throw in a fun/random question it should at least be good. That was just a waste of press time for everyone involved.
Reviews are making it sound like a warmed-over version of Ragnarok. I'm rapidly losing interest in the MCU over the last couple years due to how formulaic it's all become. I'd be happy with them putting out some projects that are stand alone and aren't confined by the limitations of the MCU. Still kinda upset that Blade is gonna be in the MCU, was hoping we'd get a project that didn't feel as family friendly and closer to the original vibe.
I’m still looking forward to seeing this ‘cause a lesser Ragnarok still sounds pretty fun, but not a great sign if even Taika Waititi can’t quite stick the landing in this “phase” or whatever.
Taika didn’t have as much creative control of Ragnorak. He took part in many of the comedic moments but the story itself was 3 other people. Love and Thunder is basically Feige letting him go wild and it might have not been for the best. While Taika is great at comedy he seems to struggle most when it comes to juggling tones. Still excited to see this, however.
Reading the synopsis, it sounds like Gorr is completely wasted. I don't think the story lends itself to a two hour movie.
I have no complaints with Taika’s ability to handle tone, Boy and Hunt for the Wilderpeople nail it (it’s been a while since I’ve seen Eagle vs Shark). I think the problem is just marvel fatigue. Theres too many movies and shows and especially at the moment, it feels aimless.
I also think there might be a little Taika fatigue. He’s been in a ton of stuff, often to do his Taika thing and it can grating when used in the wrong way (“Free Guy”).
