It's definitely a big change from how Gorr looks in the comics. I'll reserve judgment until I see a finished version of it in a trailer.
Yeah, not too keen on Gorr's look. The villain looked so good in that run but here he's just a....zombie.
Doesn't look that different to me. Mainly just a change in costume from black to white and the face looks a little bit more human, clearly to better identify Bale. And no visible tentacles on the head, I guess.
I think you and I have different definitions of significant when it comes to this. Like, Kro from Eternals, that's a significant visual change to me.
that image above to walking dead extra is pretty drastic lol honestly the design they already used for the thanos henchman was pretty close to the OG gorr
Isn't that another clear reason to make Bale's character more distinct? I dunno, to each their own, but to me it looks like they changed an off-white humanoid guy with black robes to an off-white humanoid guy with white robes. I'll also concede I'm not terribly familiar with Gorr in the comics so I don't have a real attachment to him being represented faithfully, but I still think it looks fairly close regardless.
Mighty Thor and Thor both look fantastic. I really like the blue and yellow in their outfits. Star-Lord looks ok. The facial hair makes him look better. I just want Gorr to be compelling with his backstory. Hopefully he has more screen time than Hela did.
It seems like the Guardians will play a larger role than imagined. Star-Lord’s costume also looks better than ever.
