what a trip. “Weeping Window” is crushing.

 

Is this is more ambient than I remember their stuff being? Admittedly I haven't really ever listened to one of their full albums. I always have their stuff on concentration/reading playlists and stuff.

This is beautiful. Some parts remind me of Young Mountain and Mogwai with the keys. I already like it more than Another Language, hopefully there’s a part two.

 

The drumming is definitely more active on this record which is cool.

 

Really liked the dynamics of this record more than the last one. There are fast songs, up-tempo post-rock songs here and face-melting drone alike. Good shit.

 

At first I wished it was longer but I think the shorter length works nicely

 

I love Another Language but it's essentially a single flavor for the whole record. I'm in with you guys, loving the range.

 

Weeping Window feels massive.

I’ve been trying to pinpoint what the drums on Syncage remind me of and I’ve finally figured it out, it’s Fossa by Daughter

 

This is much better than what’s I remember this band sounding like. Similar palette to the newest Explosions in the Sky record.
