I'll probably hop in for the Wonder What's Next through Sci-Fi Crimes run. I love all of those records. I don't really listen to this type of music anymore, but I still revisit Sci-Fi regularly. What an album.

This album cover is so awesome. I need to get around to framing my vinyl and using it as wall art. -Don't Fake This -Forfeit -Comfortable Liar -An Evening With El Diablo (shout out to the cool drumming in the bridge to Until You're Reformed though) My favorite tracks on this one are pretty random and have changed over the years from what you'd expect. Don't Fake This and Grab Thy Hand are my two favorites with Forfeit and El Diablo close behind.
Yes. This was the first album by one of the first harder bands I got into in high school. It will forever be one of my most loved albums. EVERY song is good. Family System (their best opener) Forfeit Comfortable Liar (hard choice, but that bass drop pushes this one over the top) An Evening
That's quite a statement. Their openers are all incredible though so really no wrong answer. I'd rank them: -The Clincher -Antisaint -Sleep Apnea -Family System -Ouija Board -Door to Door Cannibals -Face to the Floor (even though this is the one album I don't care for by them, this song is still great) -Point #1
Oh Open and Point #1 are the same song! They just had to split it up due to studio pressure. I cannot back up that claim.
My favorite live show opener from them though is either Another Know it All or Family System. I like when they close with The Clincher.
They seem to do a lot of festivals and such but if you can, try and see them at a club show! They always mix up their sets pretty well and do a good amount from all albums.
I've seen them quite a few times, but have only seen them headline once! Chevelle Setlist at House of Blues, Cleveland It was pretty awesome and O'Brother opened which made it even more awesome. I saw them as a supporting act once - on Shinedown's 2010 Carnival of Madness Tour (Sevendust, Puddle Of Mudd, and 10 Years were there too). Chevelle Setlist at Time Warner Cable Amphitheater at Tower City, Cleveland And then I've seen them play several festival shows - typically 9 or 10 songs per show. Here are the setlists for those I could find. Chevelle Setlist at Rock on the Range 2009 Chevelle Setlist at Rock on the Range 2012 Chevelle Setlist at Rock on the Range 2014
I'll forever be jealous that you saw them open with Ouija Board. I can't see them ever playing it again, seems like only on their album cycle. I can't find it on Setlist.fm, but my favorite time has to be when they were touring This Type of Thinking in 2005. They opened with Still Running, the last two songs were Emotional Drought (he pulled off the long ass scream through the bridge) and El Diablo. Then came back with Clincher for the encore. I'll never forget the order of those tracks, it was perfect. The other songs I don't remember the order but they for sure played: Family System, Comfortable Liar, Send the Pain Below, The Red, Wonder What's Next, Forfeit, Get Some, Vitamin R, Another Know it All.
