My god where do these people come from. It’s like a car wreck that I can’t look away from.

 

Being from Florida the first 10 minutes wasn't as shocking to me as it seemed to be for other people lol

 

He's clearly happy to put microphones in front of anyone, but I don't know how anyone could watch this and think he's platforming them as opposed to letting them tell on themselves. It's true he humanizes people on both sides throughout the doc, but those people are often the victims of right-wing grifters, political division at the hands of the media, or their own family members. The whole point of the movie is dissolving the idiea of "both sides" and examining how this division happened in the first place.

A reaction like that is almost more depressing than the documentary itself because to anyone who takes the time to actually think about it before tweeting out a false, surface-level take like that, it's clear where his heart is at.

Yeah, just finished and the confrontation with the deep state YouTuber/sex offender was jaw-dropping. This is a must-watch

 

yeah in hindsight it feels so obvious because so many of those people are projecting but it was still crazy watching it unfold.

I thought this was really good. He does do a little both sides-ing in his monologue about the extreme left and extreme right but the footage speaks for itself lol This is definitely a doc about the extreme right even if there are a few scenes with some liberals talking nonsense

Watching this really drives the point home just how bad education and mental health really is in America. Not saying it’s better or worse then other places but it’s like it’s own special blend of fucked up unique to the world.

The Q family legit bummed me the fuck out, those poor kids

 

You get like a slight glimmer of hope when they realized they’ve been duped. But there’s a 100% chance they’re just gonna jump on a new conspiracy because media literacy is terrible in our country.

 

Yeah I appreciate him going back to them and it's crazy that the kid was as lucid as he was about the whole thing.

Watched this last night and loved it despite how depressing everything was. Channel 5 killed it once again. Andrew looked fucking terrified after showing that pedophile dude his conviction report at the end. The guy apparently had an illegal pistol on his waist while they were just sitting there at that diner.

 

I really did enjoy this and I feel like it hammered the point home that this country has a bad media literacy problem and just how easy it was for these people to get sucked into these conspiracy theories and believe blatant lies feed to them by Fox News and people like Alex Jones. It was also amusing to watch people like Alex and the Proud Boys leader meekly deflect about their involvement in the failed coup.

This was giving me a headache watching it and just shaking my head seemingly none stop, jaw dropped at so many moments. Feel so bad for those kids of the Q anon parents to be brainwashed so badly and obviously lonely/yearning for their friends the parents took them away from.

The early Biden supporter (with the sign that fell behind her at the end) was one of the funniest bits.

But just an overall sad watch.
