enjoyed 4 and 5 a lot more than 3. re: finale saw a theory that kevin and madison will end up falling in love and ending up together after all and the music teacher will end up being her brother hence the brother in law line. sounds stupid as i type it but madison's mom being British was kind of random? also dan fogelman seemingly said they've been building to kate and toby splitting up for a while so maybe that's a confirmation. kinda hate it, Toby is not my favorite character by any means but they gave him a decent redemption. throwing that away in five min feels pretty cheap twist to me but what do i know.
I don’t hate it. Toby has not been who Kate thought he was throughout their marriage, so I can see it ending.
I just caught up on the last 4 episodes today. I love the direction this is going. The last episode had me smiling the whole time
I loved it haha. Obvious outcome, but I did not think it would be as well-earned an outcome as it was. Imo, a MUCH more well handled storyline than the Kate & Toby divorce (even if the actual deciding to divorce episode was pretty good).
Fantastic show. Reminds me a bit of the show ‘Parenthood’. So far the show is ending as I predicted. No major twists or anything. It’s just nice to see these characters grow and come full circle. Tons a great messages in the writing too.
All caught up on this just in time for the finale. It's been nice to see everyone's growth come full circle this season, especially Kevin.
I somehow ended up two seasons behind because pandemic so now I’m on a power binge. I don’t think I’ll get caught up in time for the finale, but I’m loving being back with the Pearsons after the gap.
a wild turn of events. the front half of this season sucked but the back half is as strong as the show has ever been
