lol Thankfully, it seems like they're going in a more interesting direction with that. Last night's ep was a feel-good ep for me. Kate and Toby are in sync, Kevin and Madison connected, and Randall seems to be doing ok.
this season is pretty good especially considering how much COVID has to have messed with the shooting schedule. both big stories from last year's finale (the falling out and the pregnancy) could have gone deep into shitty melodrama but I'm pleasantly surprised that both were handled reasonably. they kind of nailed the resolution to the kevin/randall story, i think.
literally lol'd at the teaser for next week. i'm sure it'll be solid, but after like 4 or 5 relatively momentous eps in a row it just feels so...low stakes
People caught up? The Kevin/Randall racial reckoning episode could have been a disaster but was rather decent. It suffered a bit for the runtime - the conclusion feels like the right place to end up, but not entirely earned - but at least as far as network tv goes it felt like they avoided dumbing it down too much.
Season three was pretty bad for me so I haven’t revisited since. Maybe I’ll try and binge 4 and 5, I’d like to catch up for the final season.
