Welp. I can’t really say I saw half of last nights episode coming. The second half of this season is going to be brutal. I have SO many questions about the last 5 minutes. As someone who has a very close family member dealing with memory deterioration, Rebecca’s current situation is really hitting him. Nearly lost it multiple times.
'This Is Us' casts Sophia Bush and Pamela Adlon in guest roles Based on the article Pamela Adlon will be in Randall's story line, but no work on Sophia Bush's role...could it be Kevin's mysterious Baby Mama?
I, for one, feel attacked that when I leave things up the universe that Sophia Bush wasn’t making coffee across the room from me.
id be more scared if we hadn't seen Randall, Beth, and Tess in the flashforwards. Fogelman said in very certain terms they arent gonna kill Annie, and i doubt Deja would ever be in danger. i think itll just send Randall's anxiety to new peaks and he will really struggle to balance his political responsibilities.
I think Kevin's future wife has to be Sophie. I think we're going to see the story of their 1st divorce as they get back together. The parallels make sense.
That "hall pass" date Kevin went on a couple episodes ago was so sad by the end. That character has grown so much, and I find myself really invested in his search for happiness now.
I'm hoping red herring as well, but it's going to have to happen soon for the timeline to make sense, right? As for next week...we're in for a rough one it seems.
I really want to root for Kevin every time he takes a step forward but then he takes 2-3 steps back continually for sleeping with any woman near him with a pulse. It's hard to root for him when he does that.
Maaan, why's the SOTU address gotta be on a Tuesday? That BS makes me wait 2 weeks for an episode mid-season every year. Tired of it haha.
this series is maybe the peak of melodrama i love it so much. the Kate episode was good but the Kevin episode ruled and the Randall ep was one scene shy of being perfect to me. really excited for next week's, feels like it will get the ball rolling into the next phase of the show and being more focused on the future and less focused on the younger years.
I feel like everyone leaving Kevin in the dark is the reason that he and Randall don't speak in the future (if I need to spoiler this then let me know).
