season had flaws but its still a great show and im way too invested to bail ever. could've done with less Vietnam.
Three season?!?? Hopefully they end it after that. This season was very up and down. The premise of the show might have run its course.
the plan has been six seasons the entire time, its just finally been renewed for that much because NBC would be crazy to greenlight 4-5 seasons of a series prior to gauging its longterm performance
Was it really that much? I listened to the podcast that one of the creators did with Bill Simmons and I though I heard it was like 3-4.
i am confident (but could be wrong) that it was at least five, but here's something from Feb that mentions the 6 season plan. https://www.google.com/amp/s/people.com/tv/this-is-us-likely-ending-after-season-6/amp/ i remember something from further back that mentioned each pair of seasons constituting an "act" of the story
potential story lines to delve into from this season: 1. How is Nicky back in the picture? 2. Kevin married and with child (maybe he and Sophie end up back together forreal?) 3. Where was Kate when they went to see Rebecca? 4. Where were Annie and Deja? 5. Can we assume Rebecca ends up with Alzheimer's or Dementia? 6. Randall's politcal career. Pretty solid list of stuff to explore.
^Was also thinking it could be the mother of Kevin's future child. Big fan of House, so I'm glad I'll get to watch her on TV again (Once Upon is not my thing).
I think it goes up after it airs on the West Coast? Not entirely sure of exact time, as I'm usually well asleep before then. But I've definitely watched it before work the next morning before.
That’s my guess but also maybe not because she’s in a Middle East conflict and I guess we could still be in one in the future. But the blind guy kinda looks like Kevin
my guess: blind kid is kate's kid, military lady is kevin's kid, i'm a little more torn since we already know randall's kids but maybe they have another? maybe the kid with the baby's mom is randall's youngest?
