okay i know i pointed it out already, but the closing moments of SF&GG, the 'i'm dumbfaced, it's just some face and gotta go' part, that to me has the specific 'seems so simple, but how to replicate' beauty and propulsion that songwriting is all about. nate just fucking has it, and i try to sit down and rip him off all the time and it never works
