I may be dense, but any chance the reference is them trying to be clever to a very literal reference - writing/recording apart due to covid? I don't know if that would be a good or bad situation for this band

i like the illustrated cover and the title, jenkins referencing french new wave cinema makes me lol thinking about the “red balloons and ennui” line in “why can’t you be”

I would love to get some of the 3EB B-Sides from that era. They had a bunch of good stuff that was scrapped or never finished, I believe

 

Finished version of Carnival Barker would be incredible

 

I have a 7 minute version of Carnival Barker, still instrumental though

 

There was a website awhile ago that had all their b-sides, demos, etc.... I downloaded everything and in general we didn't miss anything that great

Interesting little acoustic song by them was "Second Born"
