Anyone been to any shows?

Enjoy! Saw them in London last month and they killed it.

 

I thought they didn't want to go there

 

I love this band and I love their records, but the last 3 times I've seen them have been relative disasters so I think I've off that train now.

 

How so? I've never seen them have a bad set

 

Wow I just realized the first time I saw them was ten years ago as of a couple weeks ago. Holy shit life flies by

 

Just typical stuff - sound was off, or he wasn't able to get through many of the songs without getting winded or altering them. Lots of holding the mic out and being a hypeman and less of a frontman. The last few times I've seen them I didn't enjoy a lot of the combinations of songs (I get they have a huge catalog, but the hip-hopesque mash ups really get under my skin). Still a lot of energy for sure, but the "they (he) are def getting old" feeling has rubbed off.

 

I actually saw them in September in ATL as well, haha. Can't miss this one since they're playing within walking distance from my house.

 

Damn, you must've had terrible luck. I've seen them like 6 times and they crushed every show.

He's obviously not a great live SINGER but the shows are always great fun in my opinion

 

His singing has even been great at the ones I’ve gone too except for once, and that was the last show of a longgggg summer tour

 

Guys...I got a bunch of crazy shit. London anything palm reader tropic ways light it up jumper never let you go wounded blinded in the fade crystal baller...trying to remember the rest haha

Yeah I was pumped about that. They played some new song that kinda seemed in the vein of Turn me On as well

 

Oh wow, did they say if they were planning on releasing that or any other new music soon?

 

No, haha. It was kinda weird they just played that out of nowhere but didn’t say anything about it. It was a part of like a 4 song medley
