Sounds like you need to stop listening to the live versions!

 

I did that for Dopamine and that's probably part of why I think it's a better record overall. Still hard not to listen to the demos and original recordings and not think about what might have been.

lmao just that live version of it they were playing since pretty much UM released I believe. I remember reading interviews where Stephan said he wanted to record it that way too

I both like the new recordings of Alright Caroline and Scattered, and find some parts lacking the urgency found on the demos. It's weird, but glad we have proper studio recordings now

edit: and not that anyone cares, but not really feeling this new version of Tattoo of the Sun. It doesn't really feel like they're calling this a remix or anything. Leave well enough (perfect) alone, Stephan.

I'll guess their set second is around 10 songs. Here's my prediction:
