what are Kiss Goodnight and Heroin, did those become other songs OR are they previously unheard??

Pretty sure Heroin is a Velvet Underground cover, had a pretty low quality version of it a while back.

on a related note, anybody seen XEB, featuring Kevin Cadogan/Arion Salazar and Tony Friedianelli on the road? Going to see them this week and am definitely looking forward to it...

 

I've seen live videos and definitely would never want to see it, truly think they sound horrible

 

lol yeah i'm listening to a show where xeb performed the entire first album and it sounds like garbage

 

i saw 3eb on that dashboard tour and while stephan's voice is still rough live the band sounded wonderful

well yeah, I mean I'm going more because it was a cheap ticket and that whole mess with Stephan and the band rights etc. makes it seem cool to at least give those guys some credit for having contributed a lot to the album, you know?

 

I've also never seen them with Cadogan playing guitar so it'd be cool to see that live, IMO.

Some of the videos of Kevin showing you how to play songs like "wounded" online are sick.

 

Top 5, possibly top 3 song of theirs. I know it's Stephans favorite song of theirs

 

Cadogan is the man but with Tony singing that ain't gonna sound good in my opinion.

 

Woof, yeah, the instrumental parts sound great on these XEB videos, but Tony's voice is just...not good.

I'd be happy to take over and do my best Stephen Jenkins impression for them.

 

This guy seriously knows how to compose guitar parts

 

I was rocking some Third Eye Blind during my commute today. I played "Wounded" three times in a row. So good.

 

any idea how limited this S/T 20th anniversary LP will be?

 

That song is fucking timeless. Will never get old for me.
