I usually play Exiles a few times in a row as well when listening to Dopamine

 

also, are they doing anything special in regards to like a re-issue of s/t or anything for the anniversary? (I don't have social media or anything)

 

They are playing the album in full on their tour with Silversun Pickups this summer.

Yes to all of these, My Hit and Run, Danger and Red Star are top notch

The rock musicality of My Hit and Run and Danger is what I'm missing from 3EB these days


A couple songs that never get enough love in the 3EB canon are Farther, Dao of St Paul, Faster, and All the Souls

 

Red Star and My Hit and Run are both severely underrated songs in their disography

Have to assume it'll have Tattoo of the Sun, and then maybe some acoustics and demos? Hopefully something unreleased though. Could you imagine if they've been sitting on a song for 20 years?

 

A quality studio recording of Alright Caroline or Scattered would be nice too. Yeah, anything unreleased would be insane though.

 

god I want quality recordings of so many b-sides. Alright Caroline, Scattered, Persephone. Also New Girl will probably be on there. It'll probably just be the b-sides or demoes from the session though.

 

On a B-side note, why is the piano version of "My Time In Exile" so much better than the full band version?

 

New Girl is so good.

 

They had a song called Invisible that is fucking awesome and the original Summer Town is great.

 

They played Alright Caroline a few shows ago, maybe that will be on the reissue, would make sense

As far as I know the 7 minute version floating around that was intended for Symphony of Decay is the finished version.

 

If any of you haven't heard these, i definitely recommend that you do. Some really good unreleased stuff.
