Sweet. New song to check out as well, "Cop vs. Phone Girl". No release date on the EP though so expect it in about 2021.

Third Eye Blind debut new song about police brutality

Edit: Song is odd. It's got a quirky Non-Dairy Creamer vibe to it as expected from the title, but the "protest band" tag doesn't really fit any better on 3EB than it ever has.

i like this song a lot better than their last embarrassing engagement with current events, "if there was a time."

Still can't believe we've gotten two 3EB releases in the space of a year. What a time to be alive.

yeah i love it. "isn't it pretty" is the weakest but i love that they tried for a song with a "i want you" vibe

Loving this EP, although I wish it was two songs longer so I could consider it an LP. Every song is great. This band has had quite the revival.

Mixed feelings on this. "Company of Strangers" is their best song in years, probably since Out of the Vein - but a lot of this (on first listen admittedly) is sounding like middling pop at best. I know it makes no sense to yearn for a bands better years, but they get there so easily on songs like Company of Strangers, Weightless and to a lesser extent Sherri that I'm not really sure im fully ever on board whenever they try and go smooth R&B or political heavyweight, it just doesn't suit this band as well as they might hope. That said I think on these last two releases that we've heard a lot more contributions from newer band members in the instrumentation particularly and that's not something I'm gonna discourage.
