Going to this Friday and I am super excited. However- I don't think its selling that well up here. I looked on Ticketmaster out of curiosity and its not even half sold. :-/

How can you check? Just based on the seating chart where you can pick seats?

I considered going to both Darien Lake and the Syracuse date!

Yea I just went like I was buying two tickets and looked at the seating chart/available seats and there are tons.

Is the venue you're going to massive? My venue was packed and it was an amphitheater...

It is pretty big, but whoever booked the tour didn't really make a great decision....They are playing all within a few hours of each other 3 nights in a row. (Buffalo on Thursday...then Friday 2 hours away in Syracuse...then Saratoga is 2 and a half hours away on Saturday). I just feel like if they only did two of those dates rather than three in the same Upstate NY area the overall attendance would be alot better than at all 3 dates. Just my opinion though.

Yup, Thursdays show is like 25% sold. Rough stuff.

I would pay the $50ish for a seat up front if Silversun was headlining. Probably just doing lawn for cheap.

Silversun still played for a whilleee. Over an hour.

If they really don't fill up the seats my buddy who does booking told me that they may allow people in seats to move up sections to fill it in. If that helps make a decision haha just get the farthest back section? I think they even lowered ticket prices too to try to get them selling.

Chicago seated sections look a little over half way full, still pit tickets available. They played this venue with Dashboard Confessional last summer. Not sure how that one ended up selling. (I'm seeing Tom Petty at Summerfest the night this comes around so I may go see Third Eye Blind on the 4th at Summerfest instead).

Just looked. Lawn is 15 bucks for Darien. Also you can get tickets in section 300, 400 or 500 for only 20 bucks. They are basically giving these away.

Visiting buddies in Canton NY and contemplated getting tickets for Friday. Would be a 2.5 hour drive back to their place after the show, though. Ugh.

Ours was about 2. It did suck, but it was worth it.

Ugh, sucks for people that dropped good money for the close seats(like myself)

I ended up having to pay like $80 per ticket :verysad:

We were originally going to Clearwater and jumped on tickets as soon as they were available...those were $50. Had to change to JAX and the tickets had dropped by then to $20. Then fees and shit for both. Couldn't sell the Clearwater ones.

Oh well. Still had an awesome time.

Same here! They're my favorite band, and their debut is a top 3 album of all time for me, so I'm not THAT upset about it :)

Yep. That's how I justified it. I STILL would've paid that much to see them, haha.

Do you remember what time Silversun went on? Was it right at 7?

I've been hearing 8, because there's a band before them. Don't quote me on that though

There was not a band before them at my date. Don't remember what time they stared though...I think it was still close to 8

It was weird, the Silversun Pickups singer sounds great, and is a great singer, but there was absolutely nothing catchy or memorable about his vocal melodies to me.

  24. I'm a big SSPU fan, but I haven't been blown away by them live the few times I've seen them (including this tour). I don't think it's an issue with their performance, but for some reason the songs just don't capture me like they do on their records. I think part of could be that I've always seen them in really large venues. I'd love to see them in a smaller venue and see if that makes a difference.

Yeah, I've now ONLY seen them live and heard their one popular single on record. It was just weird cause the performance and everything sounded good, but it was almost hard to even discern the choruses. It was strange. I remember thinking "Man, they had that one radio hit, and I can see why they haven't had more".
