I like that just the third comment down on the video folks bring up him screwing over the ex-members ha. As much as I like 3EB it's good that more people know about that now.

 

Honestly, if you're still listening to Third Eye Blind in 2022, of course you know that stuff. I love their older music, but Stephan is an asshole. I still go back and read that Twitter thread about him from Zach of Jimmy Eat World every once in a while for laughs.

 

The original guitar player Kevin Cadogan and the original bass player Arion Salazar started a band and recruited the replacement guitar player Tony Fredianelli as their singer and they toured playing the self titled album as well as some other songs like Bonfire. Would love to see them play. They sounded good on youtube. Not sure if they are active anymore.

 

I like the dark keyboard tones, horns and string work. Stoked for the rest of the record. I will forever consume anything 3eb haha.

Hyped on "Blinded." Have always loved their acoustic version of that song.

 

Whenever I hear faster I just think how awful Charlize Theron is. Great song

I remember this instagram clip from like a decade ago and they asked Stephen what the most underrated album of all time was (not theirs, but ALL music) and he replied "Out of the Vein". It is my favourite of theirs though

Agreed great song, but why is she awful?

 

Best Charlize song was left off the album:

 

"I wanna get off one time and not apologize"
"She's got the nerve to say
She wants to fuck that boy so badly"

They broke up before this song so everyone assumed he wrote it about her. I think so It just seems like her.

 

OOTV is my favorite from them.

 

That sounds like a total SJ thing to say haha.
