Greatest band ever? Probably. My favorite band ever? Yes.

Something Borrowed is wrecking me. What an album.

Absolutely 100% agree. This album is incredible. Matt was such a cool dude, hope he's well.

Any idea if they're going to tour this album? I want to hear all these songs live! Dream song, classic movies and summer machines live would be awesome.

They said most likely, no. They have personal lives that prohibit them from touring extensively. A few shows around glasgow or something may happen, but dont count on it.

This was recommended to me from the Frightened Rabbit facebook page I'm a member of and really digging this.

Also found this side project and I think this is my favorite song I've discovered this year:

Been revisiting this lately and it is still an absolute tour de force.

Also, I feel like I have finally let lyrics kinda set in and like, some stuff on here is actually superb beautiful and moving? I don’t know how I missed it during my first listening period!

Despite its kinda upbeat nature, “Holding Back the Dark” has such tender and human moments and “So Long, Sundown” is just such an honest expression of trying to build a life and relationship despite dealing with depression. Also, it’s definitely super poppy and noticeably less mature than the rest of the album, but goddamn the chorus of “Our Lady of Sorrows” is just perfect.

I know I’m preaching to the choir here!

    Good Album is G O O D

I don't find Our Lady to be less mature than the rest of the album at all - it's a moment where the band is finally able to rock out. There's humanity in those moments

Every time I go back to this album, it transports me to a far better place.

    It's all hell.

I've been listening to Summer Moon a bunch over the last few weeks (before autumn/winter hit and I listen to The Dark, Dark Bright a million times), and it holds up so well. The ending two punch of Second City, Setting Sun and Bloody Mary is perfect, and it's definitely still my aoty from last year.

I'm a little gutted they didn't play any shows off the back of the release, but am holding hope a one or two off will eventually happen.

Happy (late) Birthday to this gem. Didn't get around to listening to it much last year, but it's been in heavy rotation the past few days and it's just so incredibly good.

Extremely grateful we got this record after all this time, and for this band in general. Still can't believe how lucky I was to get to see them live in Munich back in 2016.
