From what I can gather, he is prepping two albums (or EPs?) that seem to be under two monikers, NY THEO and LA THEO. I don't really know anything though.

I've lost a lot of enthusiasm for him but his tapes are still killer

Two things.

1. He released a new EP, Lovers Holiday III, which is 5 versions of Seals back to back to back

2. I just now learned that he released a mixtape last year with new tracks, clips of upcoming album tracks, and other stuff. and it's a free download: NIGHTS B4 BEBEY – MY BEBEY RECORDS

 

I'm kinda really into this Lovers Holiday III release, it's a super interesting experiment to have a 5-song EP of the same song done 5 different ways back to back, kinda just plays as a single 18 minute song

 

Posts on instagram are starting to bubble up from his inner circle. He has had erratic behavior like this his entire career. Drugs seem to have played a part but that is speculation. It is very tragic because the guy truly is talented. I can not vouch for him as a good person that is for sure, he doesn't seem to be trustworthy or reliable. It's just a tragic story - I do hope he is ok.

Hope he’s okay and he’s found soon. Listening to Bebey again and it’s fantastic.

 

Great news

 

That’s great to hear. Young rappers die way too frequently and I was scared to lose another. I spent a day last week listening to Bebey and a lot of his features and it reminded me how underrated he is.
