Never listened to Kelela but know I woulda loved Sampha :(

 

Kelela EP from 2015 is amazing.

 

Sampha would be great but I can see Kelela thriving more in the setting of this tour. Or at least my date, since it's outdoors.

I wanna see Sampha in a club.

 

Oh wait I listened to that EP before lol. Didn't recognize her name for some reason. Album cover is hard to forget tho

 

I saw The xx for the first time ever last Thursday on their first UK show in 4 years. Unbelievable. What a bloody show.

 

I think my favorite song on this is Replica.

The xx were easily one of the best sets of the weekend at Coachella, I was pretty blown away. I saw them a few years ago and really dug it, but this was a whole other level. They expanded and changed up so many of their songs live that it was like hearing them for the first time. Everyone sounded perfect, it was an amazing set.

 

The way the final four or so songs transitioned into each other was perfect.

 

And the inclusion of Loud Places as a full band song, AND the extended intro to Say Something Loving..... so much awesome

 

Shot in the dark: Anyone interested in trading their NYC Forrest Hills tickets for my Philly Mann Center tickets?

Or just buying my Mann Center ticket at face value (5/17)?

 

Can anyone who's seen them on this tour give me a breakdown of set times for opener/xx?

Tonight's show is 530 doors/630 show. But im worried I might not get there until 730-8

 

our show was doors 5:30, sampha 7:15, XX at 9 lol

the show is absolutely insane though, blown away by this one.

 

That's really weird. Was it a weekday? And was the "show" time 6:30 as well?

 

it said show time 7 but sampha didn't go on until 7:15 or so. only like a 40 minute set, we had an hour wait
it was a saturday too.
