both? it was a part of AV's Undercover series, so bands don't really get to choose what song they cover.
I actually listened to it. I just read the lyrics in band camp and they really made fun of the actual lyrics.
I like it a lot, sounds kind of like an in between for We Need More Skulls and Katamari Duquette. Definitely better as a bside though, the flow of Harmlessness as well as being essentially an album of positivity would've made this an outlier.
This song seemed a lot more accessible than a lot of their stuff, interesting that it gets such a mixed reception
It's repetitive and not interesting. Feels uninspired, and one might even say...phoned-in a little bit. This would be one that "needed to bake a little longer", so to speak imo.I dont see this fitting anywhere on harmlessness, but I love all of their albums as they are. I'm not trying to hate on it. It's a fine track. It just didnt grab me, or present anything interesting imo. Lyrics were bland/repetitive, instrumentation and tone was fairly unsurprising, doesn't feel like it takes advantage of it's 4min track length(the last 30 seconds are legit, but nothing insane), etc. This is a textbook "b-side" to me.
