Awesome lineup, and it feels like it's coming up super quick since my date is at the beginning of tour.
It was probably pretty obvious to most people but the tour is full band acoustic (Probably pretty similar to those holiday shows they did in 2013). Plus they're playing all of the songs off the EP. Hoping this means I get to see A New Hope Again. Setlist for the show I saw in 2013 at West Chester was: Dismantling Summer Don't Let Me Cave In Woke Up Older Passing Through A Screen Door Local Man Ruins Everything Christmas At 22 Living Room Song Suburbia I've Given You All And Now I'm Nothing There, There The Devil In My Bloodstream Hey Thanks Madelyn Logan Circle: A New Hope All My Friends Are In Bar Bands
Really excited to see them in a different way. It'll be interesting to be at a more laid back TWY show.
After the release of this EP, their "acoustic" songs will be enough for its own setlist. Which is weird because I didn't realize they had that many. Burst & Decay A Song For Ernest Hemingway There, There Coffee Eyes Cardinals Don't Let Me Cave In Dismantling Summer You In January No Closer To Heaven No Closer To Heaven The Greatest Generation Madelyn Suburbia Living Room Song Woke Up Older Local Man Ruins Everything I've Given You All The Upsides We Won't Bury You Dynamite Shovel (Campfire) Logan Circle: A New Hope Hey Thanks Pre-Upsides Christmas At 22 Through Two Hearts Racing Trains
Would be an awesome setlist. Obviously they won't do pre-upsides but I would love if they did everything else
I forgot how much I liked the Aaron West album. I should revisit it ....he said, watching the video for Our Apartment and seeing JJR god damnit
I was scared and I'm sorry Logan Circle Washington Square Park My Last Semester I love the tour announcement some of those previous stripped down holiday shows were my fav to attend. I was so impressed.
this was so good Edit: I'll never forget them doing Suburbia>I've Given You All>And Now I'm Nothing as one song. One of the coolest surprises ever.
I remember either Nick or Soupy promised on AP.net that they'd play the trio in full at one point. They did it on that run and the anniversary show in 2015.
Both times so, so good. On another note, I think the Suburbia night of the anniversary shows was the best they have ever sounded live.
