so i guess this is just a site to promote the EP? bummer. still no official announcement yet but i found this

Starting their own label would be neat. It does look like the Loneliest Place On Earth logo next to the Hopeless logo on the center label of the records.

 

Im pretty out of the loop on this. Do they have a new label for sure?

not sure. dont know if theyd leave Hopeless since they seem happy there but there have been rumors of them joining Will Yips label or starting their own.

starting to doubt we'll get any sort of song or trailer now. probably just an announcement for the EP and maybe the site is going to be for their merch or something.

sounds like its a way for them to promote other artists and maybe do some off-kilter releases like splits and stuff. really cool i cant wait to see what comes of it!

Yea looks like it is announcing the imprint or label. Maybe they release one of the acoustic tracks, but looks like we will be waiting for anything new. Perhaps a small venue acoustic tour.

 

yeah this really does just push them even further into being the best "pop punk" band active right now. This sounds like something Thursday or The National or JEW would do, make a platform to promote other artists and releases and basically use their resources to help them get some traction while also releasing some cool smaller releases like this acoustic EP.

 

Their FB post says they're announcing a tour soon in support of the EP. Acoustic tour I guess.

 

So how fast do we think this pressing of 1000 will sell?

Excited for the EP. Hopefully they release a brand new album sometime next year.

 

I'm pretty excited. I bet this EP will be great, and whatever they're planning will be great too. This EP kind of feels like the end of the first act of the band too, in a good way.
