Excited to spend too much money tomorrow. Also realizing that, once this tour happens, I'll have heard every single song off of all of their proper albums live except for "The Paris of Nowhere." I guess you could also exclude "The Ghosts of Right Now" if not counting the acoustic/B&D version.
The full band entry in Ernest Hemingway made me gasp, holy FUCK they were not kidding about this one.
I remember reviewing this and my take at the time was a (marked down) 7/10 that read like a 9. THIS version of the album eats the OG for breakfast. Great songs, just everything's there now.
I just opened YouTube in a private browser after setting my VPN to New Zealand and I can listen to it there
i think that's working for the bonus tracks but the rest is still the OGs minus IDLWIWT...unless i'm a moron lol
That happened when I was on YouTube Music. I got the new versions for the actual album on the normal site through searching/recommended videos
Every time I've said it was my favorite of their albums, someone has looked at me like I had two heads.
Like, TGG and Hum mean more to me on a personal level (and the Upsides saved my life even if they're clearly not that band anymore) but I absolutely get how this could be someone's favourite Wonder Years record.
