Probably the first time I won't want to be on the guardrail for a Wonder Years show. I'm too damn old for those albums in the front. Can't wait, though.
I can't remember what tour it was but I distinctly remember going wild for Leavenhouse live. Probably one of my favorite show memories - despite the fact that most people in the crowd didn't seem to know the song.
Yeah they did a tour where they were doing Leavenhouse or Scared & Sorry each night. I got the latter
Seeing "Leavenhouse" on the first night of the fall 2014 tour with no idea it was coming, and at my favorite venue in my hometown a few months after moving away, was really special.
Here’s to hoping we get Leavenhouse, Scared and Sorry, We Won’t Bury You, Out on my Feet, Brakeless, Me vs The Highway, Rob Gordon, and Living Room song. I’ve seen them only so scared once and living room song a bunch though.
“Living Room Song” is the only thing from that era that I actively don’t want to hear. It’s a fine song but every other B-side from that era is so much better.
Living Room Song is fine in either recorded version, but it always hits different seeing it live. Was super happy they played it at their first show back in September.
I wouldn't count on Me vs. The Highway, it wreaks havoc on Dan's voice and it's already gonna be a pretty taxing set.
I really can't imagine them playing more than a 25 song set so we'll be lucky to get anything on top of the two albums imo
It's nice to hear Dan singing like this on this one, rather than flipping between being on the verge of tears and then just shouting. I got a bit tired of that vocal style on SS
Dan really does sound great here. I'd actually be really into hearing an entire TWY album along these lines. I loved the quieter moments on Sister Cities and I love this.
Song is great. I really wanted the flexi so I put in an order for a t-shirt. I considered the flannel, but $62 after shipping was a little too rich for me.
