Pre-orders are live now: https://dancampbell.co I also made an album thread: Dan Campbell - Other People's Lives (November 19, 2021) • forum.chorus.fm
In his Instagram post announcing this he said that he got permission from the people he wrote the songs for to re-record them.
Super curious what they played at Fest tonight. Feels like a time where they'd pull out some old stuff. Their set from the final Bled Fest a few years ago was pretty unbelievable. Hope anyone who was there tonight had a great time!
They crushed it imo, I had a blast Was really cool to get to see the new songs the first time they played them
my guess is theyre doing the upsides/surburbia tour in spring then summer new album and touring it in the fall
Tomorrow I would say if it’s gonna be this week. Usually tour announcements aren’t announced on Thursdays or Fridays. So either tomorrow or next week for sure
I know, collectively, a lot of us aren’t fans of the mix of NCTH, but I’m listening right now on my morning jog and it’s the perfect crisp fall day and it just feels right. I remember that fall when it came out and how much I listened to it and I’m just filled with nostalgia.
Dan just confirmed in his live stream that on the Upsides/Suburbia tour they will be doing BOTH albums in the same nights. Upsides first, small intermission and then Suburbia. They are just waiting for a few more venues to get back to them about accessibility issues for fans/covid policies.
Both albums back to back is going to be crazy. I’d kill to hear some of the B sides or something off WBPF, but I’m not holding my breath considering how long the set will already be.
Yeah both albums are 40 minutes on the dot, plus the break, plus between song breaks so we are pushing 90 minutes + before a potential encore. Thought after they end a set with “And Now I’m Nothing” there is no need for an encore imo.
Yeah, no need for an encore after "And Now I'm Nothing," but I would love a section between the albums with "Me Vs the Highway" and "My Life As Rob Gordon."
I assume maybe they'll at least do Brakeless and Out On my Feet as well? I would love to hear any B-side to either album too Leavenhouse is one specific song I've never heard. And Scared & Sorry I've seen a million times but is one of my all time favs. I've also seen My Life As Rob Gordon but will take it
Good point I feel like they may work Brakeless and Out on My Feet into each album. Feel like an encore is unlikely unless they’d use those as the encore. I’ve already seen both albums in full so on the fence about going.
