So are these songs they re-recorded?

 

no it's both original albums, a disc of bonus tracks, and a disc of demos

 

I’m sure they will, there’s no downside for them to keep repressing as long as they don’t overestimate demand and get stuck with extra inventory. I’m sure they will want some to sell on an eventual tour too.

 

New variants are up in white or blue. Kind of disappointed since the originals were cooler, but I went ahead and bought one

 

Does anyone know when the ones from this morning are expected to ship? I didn't see

 

Galaxy is shipping in January (spacing on when exactly)

 

I got the white but now I’m wondering if the blue is better. Damn.

Damn, I feel bad for the people who HAVE to collect every variant. Oh wait, no I don’t, they made this choice.

 

Hell I wonder how many people who ordered this already have 1 of the original pressings from 10 years ago

 

I absolutely would buy this box set in a heartbeat if I didn’t own first and second pressings of both Upsides and Suburbia

 

I had sold my copies of upsides and suburbia in anticipation for this, actually

I have first pressings of both albums and also ordered this for the bonus tracks and liner notes.

 

I have 3 Upsides and 2 Suburbia but still had to get the boxset lol

 

Got the Hopeless variant first pressing and also grabbed Greatest Generation for $15 bc we are missing that album on vinyl. Impressed how clean the collection is and well presented. Good marketing. Like the Melrose hoodie but didn’t pull the trigger. Super happy it sold so well. Hopefully will help them and their crew out a bit during this time.

 

Managed to grab the Hopeless split variant, and the galaxy variant on their site with a pin. Torn on which one to keep, unless I just end up keeping both... I think the white and blue varaint's look a bit bland, and a splatter pressing would've been way more appealing. Still, so stoked for the band that the reception for this has been so great!

 

Got the second pressing. But it didn’t let me input my complete address when creating an account so I used Paypal express (which has my address). A bit weird but it is what it is lol

Now to wait until April I guess

EDIT: The blue isn’t as pretty as the first batch. Shame.

 

Idk if it was a mistake and will end up getting canceled, but I was just able to order the original split variant on Hopeless’ site.
