Damn it’s just good to get new TWY. Needed this in my life right now.

 

This song is such a flex. Reminds me of Rollin and Tumblin from the last Gaslight Anthem album. Kind of a "hey, we still got it, we can churn out songs like this whenever we dang well please."

One of Soupy’s very best vocal performances, just really powerful.

 

This song is so good. Love that it feels like it is from that era, but still new.

 

This is so good. This band are truly a step above 99% of this scene.

 

Said this in the Sister Cities these and then found this thread. I hate that I feel this way because I don’t want to be “that fan,” but this is easily my favorite thing they’ve released since TGG.

 

Thought I saw mention somewhere about Upsides and Suburbia represses in Dec in conjunction with this- is that a known thing? Never got my hands on either and would love to have....

 

It's still a rumour for now but honestly it's likely!

 

I really hope that happens! Suburbia is the only release of theirs I don't have and can't find a copy of that isn't pretty overpriced so bring it on! My copy of The Upsides is pretty worn out too.

 

Great song. I will take Sister Cities any day over it, though.

So excited for the stream tonight. Been listening to the wonder years all day in preparation.

 

Probably won't be able to watch until tomorrow but I'm especially excited for the first performance of "Brakeless."

 

If anyone was wondering, the Burst and Decay stream from June is STILL UP. Just got a shirt and ticket for tonight, I'll be on setlist duty again hahah

Good call. I just started doing this as well, it had been a long while since I've listened to them.

 

I need to see a full-throttle set from these guys like nothing else. The Burst and Decay set was amazing in its own right but this band are untouchable in full flight. I'm SO fucking ready.
