Yeah that would be great. I wonder if it's just going to stay up to stream somewhere on the site or whether it's going to be for offline too.
I dunno if you can download it, unless they release it which they haven't confirmed yet. But you can stream the gig
I sent a message in saying thank you to my friend for introducing me to TWY in the last few months because they've given me a massive amount of hope and love during a dark time in my life. Doubt Soupy will read it but I want to say it.
Passing through a screen door is the TWY song that gets in my head the most. "Jesus Christ" on the original. So powerful.
Billing the show as Live in Your Living Room, people making the joke about them doing Living Room Song, and then they actually did it!
I loved that so much. I'm just about recovering from being in tears at the end. I'm a big emotional mess right now tbh.
A great mix of songs, too - everything off the two EPs and some stuff I wasn't expecting but perfectly fit the vibe!
I'm in such a hyped place after that gig, if anyone wants to talk about TWY more feel free to drop me an inbox message.
Definitely! I keep saying this but it was my first TWY live gig of any kind so I had no idea what to expect. But it just felt like it really nicely fit with my TWY journey over the last few months. Of course I've got into them hard and fast very quickly so basically I'm no judge of their setlist but it was a really great first live experience
I was surprised at just how well the stream was, it was pretty much perfect the whole way through. Love that Dan touched on Living Room Song since for a bit i was like oh he changed the lyrics, just to find out many people hear that chorus wrong lol
This was damn near perfect. Me and the lady were supposed to hit the Buffalo and Philly dates and both got postponed then canceled, so it was really special to be able to sit on the couch with our two pups and watch this. Things felt a little better and a little less crazy for an hour and a half. I think we all needed this. Still smiling.
That the chorus is "We don't have trouble sleeping" though so many people mistake it as "We all have trouble sleeping "
Listened through The Greatest Generation for the first time in forever the other day. Dismantling Summer hits way too close to home still. And I Just Want To Sell Out My Funeral is just so fucking good. Great album.
