Two months seems so long right now! I'm insanely excited for this, and the book with journal entries only increases that excitement exponentially! Can't wait for the album, and I'm ready for that tour announcement!
Doesn’t somebody still hold a grudge against someone for getting a link from source code sent to them and then posting about?
I’m with @Jason Tate on this band. I want, and always try, to get on board the hype train. Always underwhelmed and somewhat confused. I’ll give this one a go, like always. Maybe this will be the one.
I'm not the biggest TWY fan, but I do think they try some new things while keeping true to their sound with each album and I appreciate that. I also really appreciate bands that announce a new record with only a few months before the release date!
Haven't listened to these guys since Suburbia, which I absolutely loved. How were the subsequent albums?
This band meant so much to me & my friends when we were 18. Now we're 25 and pretty removed from pop punk. A few of them barely go to shows anymore. They were the reason I started going to small shows so frequently. We saw them 6 times while I was in college. Can't wait for the new one regardless
Have you listened to their last couple albums? Their lyrics on those would fit perfectly with someone growing up and in their mid to late 20s.
I wish I knew what this meant... I'm not a mega fan, they wouldn't even crack my top 20 favorite bands, but I've really enjoyed every release since The Upsides for different reasons. Both albums since Suburbia are fantastic, and definitely worth your time.
Yep :) the greatest generation hits home. Got to see them during the suburbia era, greatest generation, & no closer to heaven.
I hope the vocals sound better than the last album. They always seemed too low (volume wise) to me and didn't love the production.
Historically, the biggest factor against these guys is production. If they can nail that aspect, this will be an instant classic.
