That set is great. Glad it’s extremely heavy on Hum. Edit: just realized that after this tour, I’ll have heard the whole record live except for Paris. Cool!
I joked with the wife that they should just destroy the crowd with Cardinals/Cardinals II back to back and that's exactly what they did. That's incredible. Seeing that setlist, I'm very excited to see them again next month.
I love that they did Cardinals/Cardinals II back to back. Of all the new songs I’m surprised Paris is the one they haven’t played yet, kept thinking we might get it last night but nope.
you absolutely are later in the year. far as I know the UK is getting some shows around 2000 Trees in July and I'm pretty sure the plan is for those to be TGG anniversary gigs, Dan told me as such after the Glasgow show
Last night was so good, and it’s been a while since I’ve seen people at the national so stoked for openers. also if anybody heard go birds a lot before their set, those were my pals who drove down from Philly
Amazing. I was sitting in the stadium section and heard the Eagles chants and had the biggest, dumbest grin on my face.
Noticed in a live video that they pushed Michael over to stage left and moved Nick to the back of stage right. Wonder what the reason for that is.
I have a ticket for the Albany show and won't be able to go anymore. Anyone interested in taking it off my hands so it won't go to waste and I can justify buying a New Haven ticket?
Probably just to give everyone a little more room on stage since this layout has four of them at the front of the stage instead of five.
After reading this comment I expected an EDM song or something. I think Dan’s vocals fit the song well.
Was thinking about how I’m going to see The Wonder Years for the 8th time this weekend and thought “I’d be fine not hearing anything from The Upsides live again” and then Washington Square Park came on shuffle and I thought “josh you idiot”
Can't wait to see the boys tomorrow. I'm filming something cool with Casey for a collaboration we have going with The Record Process. It's going to be a fun time!
For anyone going today who hasn't seen yet: https://instagram.com/stories/broom...ource=ig_story_item_share&igshid=NzAzN2Q1NTE= No Aaron West set tonight.
And no Hot Mulligan . Obviously still stoked for a 20 song Wonder Years set, but AW or Hot Mulligan opening would've been the cherry on top.
Felt so bad for Dan Sunday. You could tell his shoulder was really bothering him but he powered through.
