Hahah I knew I’d be visiting family in Florida sometime in Feb or March so glad it lines up! Don’t live in Philly or Delaware either but I usually see twy there and have a ton of friends in that area. Plus the Delaware show in 2018 was one of my faves lol
A little letdown by their current merch offerings. Would totally buy a long sleeve tee with “put the work in, plant a garden, try to stay afloat.” Also would totally buy some kid gloves haha
They had a neat tour tee on the fall run with a skull that had flowers growing out of the brain. It just said "The Wonder Years" on top and "Plant a Garden" on the bottom, with all the dates on the back. I'm sure they'll do some variation of that line again, it seems to be pretty popular.
They had this hoodie on the Hopeleas store with album preorders. No longer available but hope this gets reprinted. Not exactly what you were looking for but still cool nonetheless. The Wonder Years The Hum Goes On Forever Alpine Green
They were my number 4 artist of the year and I was honestly surprised they weren't higher with how much I listened to this album (ETID, Turnstile, Paramore, TWY, Anxious)
Here’s hoping that my The Wonder Years ticket for March 2023 works out better than my The Wonder Years ticket for March 2020 did!
my experience with this album: listened to it on release day: yeah that was pretty good, then let it go for a couple months listened to it driving home from work last week: it suddenly clicks and i get very emotional stellar album, stellar band. don't listen to them nearly as much as i did in my 20's, but they were the perfect band for me when i found them and i'll never have anything but good to say about dan and the boys. amen.
Looking forward to seeing them again in New Haven. At least the wife will enjoy it more this time not being 5 months pregnant during the show lol
Wow, TWY date in Toronto sold out real quick and moved to History (new 2500 cap venue) Good for these guys
