I think it was a great choice, all three are amazing songs

 

Finally got around to listening to this and I’m not real impressed. It is like TMMOG and Hello Exile in that it sounds like the band by the numbers and doesn’t do anything new or interesting

 

The deluxe packaging is cool, but I really wish they'd found a different way to secure the 7". Something like what Circa Survive did for The Amulet, or even the recent Tell All Your Friends pressing with the 10" would've been a better option than literally gluing it in (especially through the hole).

 

My deluxe is finally going to be delivered tomorrow!

 

see "it's like Hello Exile" reads like a massive massive compliment to me

I like Hello Exile when I'm listening to it, but completely forget what most of it sounds like a day or two later. TMMOG rules though.

Yeah agreed, ABMTTS and After the Party were hard albums to try and follow up. I think both are good enough, but it was probably too high a bar after those.
