Believe it's from a band called Avalon that either predates the Premier or was around the same time I'm pretty familiar with the entire Premier catalog (including the winter tour sampler songs) and there's nothing on there that matches
had that thought a bunch during my first listen this morning. I also love that TWY is a band where I get just as excited to see the new songs live as anything off TGG or suburbia
I'm on my 3rd listen-through of this now. Stopped to listen to Future Teens (which is also really really good) but I never go back to an album this much so immediately.
Digging this on my first listen now. "Lost it in the Lights" is the highlight for me so far but only on track 8 now.
I think that with Dan mentioning the Delaware in the chorus it's really doubling down on it being Valencia
Finally figured it out, Songs About Death reminds me of Your Brain is a Rubbermaid off the last TWIABP album. Both songs are fairly simple but the parts they do have hit SO hard.
I caught their set at Riot Fest and didn't realize until today that this is the first time I've seen them that they haven't had an Upsides song in their set
I kind of wish "Washington Square Park" would forever be a setlist staple, but the new songs sounded so good that it's hard to complain too much.
