Well whenever you pull the record player out of storage, please give us your review. I saw TWY last night in Allentown. Low Tide is so awesome live.
Was kind of surreal hearing Oldest Daughter and Low Tide for the first time, but from the parking lot while they sound checked 5 hours before the show
Set looked solid. Some real NCTH love. How was the crowd size? Felt like this was a gamble on the promoter side bc the shows typically lean country or hard rock at the fair.
We got to the venue part not long before Charly Bliss and got barricade, but by TWY set it seemed like the GA area was pretty full but most of the actual seats were empty. Not sure if Dan was estimating or knew the amount of tickets sold, but I think he said "1500 people" at some point during the set? I forget the exact context though.
yeah, I was really nervous when Charly Bliss was up because the crowd looked weak. It is such a giant venue though, so it’s hard to estimate how many people were actually there. It definitely filled up a ton by the time The Wonder Years were on.
Yeah it was huge. I think someone said the capacity was 8500? But I agree, GA was pretty full during TWY
Low Tide perfectly describes the anxiety of the early days of the pandemic. I relate to the chorus so much.
Definitely brought flashbacks for me attempting to grow a beard for the first time a couple months in 2020 since the mask covered my patchy face phase.
Is this going to be their best album? I think so. When it comes to these guys, nothing has hit me this hard since TGG.
When I saw them on the Upsides tour earlier this year, he told the crowd everyone on Twitter thinks he’s the head coach of our NFL team.
I saw this tweet right before I went to bed and it triggered a dream where I was getting on a plane with these dudes and Fireworks and we stopped and got pizza before we boarded our flight. very pop punk dream.
I love this band as much as I love any band in the world. But dear god, this rollout has been soooooooooooooooooooo long. Can't wait to finally hear this in full.
