I know the intro was muted deliberately but it's almost too loud so it just sounds bad and then when the proper mix kicks in it doesn't have the (I assume) intended kick-the-door-in jump in energy. Piano Player by The Hotelier employs a very similar strategy and I don't love it on there either although I find that one less jarring, probably because it's not the album opener. Kyoto chorus is huge though, still one of my favourites on SC
Yeah the retail only being 3,950, this really isn’t that many pressed in the grand scheme. The plain black of turnstile when it first came out was 10,000 and it got scarce pretty quick. I’d imagine they’re moving slightly more units than TWY these days, but still, I bet these will all sell out first or second week of release.
Knew someone years ago that had a full collection top to bottom I think either right before or right after Sister Cities came out? I tried at one point. There's so damn many.
Man kind of bummed on the web store one seeing the others. Loving the Brooklyn Vegan one. Not sure how that’s still a thing or place. Also the Banquet one.
Making everyone buy the /1000 exclusive (or dumbasses like me buying that and the deluxe) and then making cooler /300 variants available after is a lame move. Even though I get it lol
I'm quite gutted that the Banquet blue splatter variant is now available, as the Orange UK exclusive was only available when I put in my pre-order .
I already preordered the deluxe, so I probably won't get any other variants, but...ugh...that Zia one is insane.
Yall freaking out about how cool the Zia variants look, dont get your hopes too high, Coheed had a similar variant that just came out orange. Its hard mixing two colors so similar. It could end up awesome though, just a word of caution.
Right, but don't want people going crazy on the secondary market, but I guess you'd know at that point what it would look like.
That Zia variant is still available for preorder FYI. - The Wonder Years - The Hum Goes on Forever (Zia Exclusive)
