Unrelated to TWY, but as an Australian I did not expect to see a Tom Rogic avatar pop up here, excellent stuff.

The man has given me probably the best moment of my football supporting life, and many other moments that are up there!

    What a gig.

Dan also said they’re taking a proper break after this tour. No music, no live shows. Can’t say I blame them, I feel like I’ve seen them twice a year, every year, since about 2010, they deserve some proper time off.

"We need some time to rest but we're not going anywhere" sums up what he said.

Incredible show. The whole place going wild for even the deep cuts off NCTH. Just the best band.

I believe last night is the first time they've ever opened with NCTH? Which I think was great tbh

They opened with it in Glasgow then Manchester too - the two nights before London. It looks like they played the album in released order in Bristol (first night of tour) but then each night after, they've changed to the order that they've played it in now.

I was curious and looked it up and the order they're playing it in now is much closer to Dan's preferred sequencing for the album that he answered when they were answering questions on Instagram about the remaster.

They have earned a break, but damn, hopefully it's not too long.

Band deserves a break. I know many of the members have infants/small children. When I saw them with the Menzingers in October of 2024 both Josh and Mike weren’t there due to “starting families” according to Soupy. We will all be here anxiously awaiting when they come back.

Would rather have them take their time, and come back when the time is right instead of forcing through another album cycle and burning out completely. Cant wait for the Boston show bands been putting out great albums since I was a freshman in HS. Whether or not it takes 2-20 years for their next album I’ll be here for it

Some people thought they were going on hiatus after this given their initial statement. Not touring for a year sounds about right. I assume they will take their time recording an album that comes out in the second half of next year. Pretty standard touring cycle for a band of their age given they’ve done an anniversary tour for their first four albums the past four years lol

I feel like 2028 is more realistic at this point because of what they've said about not shopping around labels until they have the songs, but I'd love to be surprised.

I expect them to be support on some big tour or traveling festivals summer 2027. Then new album and headline tour sometime in the next year after that.
