good point. I was looking at tickets for the caverns show and there's specifically a "pit ticket" that's $20 more and if it's all acoustic I don't care as much about being close I guess lol

 

I've already said this in the thread before, and I keep trying to convince myself to just do it because I keep getting ads for it, but man the pricing there is a bit painful. $170 for two general admission tickets, with no additions, before considering the drive and all. It is a really cool venue and I'm certain this will be a really cool show, but damn.

 

it'll be the most i've ever paid to see TWY by far lol. but we're gonna travel from Oklahoma and make a vacation out of it. seems like it'll be quite the experience

There’s an interlude before the song on the EP so I think the IG post might be a sample of that.

This is definitely what’s going on here. The actual song that’s up on streaming isn’t a bad mix or anything, it’s just a very specific production choice

 

It’s not a choice I love especially when the bridge comes in completely different lol

 

I like the contrast with the bridge and final chorus w/ strings entry but yeah the lo-fi vibe for this was a strange choice, I think it'll grow on me!

 

Incredibly sad that I think I am going to need to sell my two tickets to the Philly show on 5/19. Enjoyed all three of the songs released thus far.

A NCTH remaster could be epic. Goddamn, the highs on that album are so high.

 

The background is Wyatt's ultrasound heartbeat, it's almost like the vocals were recorded through a stethoscope. It's pretty but I want more from the vocals.
