Yeah same happened to me for Philly on the Seated site. Tried to venue presale and got through on the AXS site.
fomo got me and i ordered straight through the caverns website with ZERO issues..i guess worst case scenario i dispute the other charges or end up with fucking 6 tickets to this to sell lol.
Got Philly tickets! Very excited for this one. Also, I can't wait to hear the new song they are playing in the promo video. Gonna make me cry.
apparently there was a system outage or something on Seated this morning so a lot of purchases didn't go through. Support just got back to me and said the charges will fall off eventually and to try through the venue website in the meantime.
Got a ticket to the Brooklyn show. Definitely glad they're doing another Burst & Decay tour after the last one got cancelled (even if I'd definitely rather have Spanish Love Songs and Pool Kids opening). Fingers crossed the bird flu pandemic doesn't hit early enough to cancel this one.
Saw that 2020 B&D tour on like Feb 28th or 29th 2020 didn’t see SLS because someone in the band was sick yikes
Got tickets for The Recher in Towson. Last time I was there was for New Found Glory with TSSF opening back in 2012/2013
I'm certain it was not up to the band, but ticket prices for the show at the Caverns are kinda wack. $80 apiece for GA before fees is kinda a big ask; that's more than we paid to see The Smile last year. I hope they have a great show.
Yeah, that's more than double what it was in Chicago ($39 after fees). Those destination venues are always going to be pricey.
woof, where are they $80 before fees? I paid $59.50 a piece plus like $55 in tax/fees through the caverns website.
Sorry, you are correct, I should have said "before checkout", I do see now that it says including fees, I just never clicked past that first page. Still, this feels wild, the total in Nashville last fall was $94.10 for two tickets, just looked it up. I know the Caverns is a boutique venue and this is a special tour, but it's still an oof from me dawg.
haha yeah my eyes got pretty wide once i noticed the fee amount right before check out but i've been dying to go to a show there and they've become my travel for/spend money irresponsibly on band lol
That's definitely a venue thing. Worcester was $41.50 after fees, which is a few dollars cheaper than their last few tours have been.
I read your post before leaving, and thanks for the reassurement - just that later I found myself with little to no internet in the UK, the weather was dire, but luckily my flight was past the worst part. All worked out, nothing was cancelled and I did see The Early November with Mark from Spitalfield, and later on that ND tour, both were pretty special I had thought so too, but it could only work the other way round in America it seems - in Glasgow, I gotta say, I was still really surprised, but there were like 2500 people, and the energy for their show was astonishing, so many people yelling the words, jumping around - TWY had a good chunk of that too, but I'm telling you the difference was still quite crushing. Not being a fan of ND really, I still enjoyed their show a lot, while it was rowdy, it was more on a cheerful side, which was cool to see from my balcony seat (I'd been upset I only could grab a balcony ticket, but I was later glad I didn't have to be down there for all the crowd surfing)
